Christie is the first mate and second in command of the Betty. He is a serious and intense individual that prides himself on being in control of every situation he is in. He carries two automatic concealed pistols on each arm and is the occasional drinking buddy of Johner. He is killed after receiving acid burns during the escape and sacrificing himself to save Vriess.
